Whats the tank progression in 2024? What should I go for next? (2024)

I'm a returning player who used to do F7.
Current setup is recombed Giant Reaper Mask, Goldor Chestplate, Goldor Leggings, and recombed T13 Perfect Boots.
clearing set consists of 3/4 ancient necron and golden head.
weapons consist of: (basically)maxed juju, soul whip, NOT livid dagger(I accidentally salvaged it)

yeah that's about it the rest is on my skycrypt I guess

lvl 100 tiger with crochet plushie for clear, lvl 100 bwhale also with crochet plushie for boss

Ankylosaurus and skeleton are better than tiger.

Ankylosaurus is better than skeleton but you need to use your goldor to armor swap at the start of each run

since there is the chance of ankylosaurus being patched in the near future, is it still worth it?

It might have been a permanent fix because they knew about it when it was on alpha before being released. They released it anyway.

Remember it was a fix to a much worse bug so it might be permanent and I dont see any downsides to it staying the way it is.

But even if it's gonna be nerfed in the future its not that bad since it's absurdly cheap so you're not losing much money in that case

This is most likely the only course the dev team has with that. Reason is due to constantly scaling bugs like Berserker Strength > Defense, and Anky Defense > Strength conversions. To prevent dungeon servers crashing, or anything else that might cause this same situation. Resulting in the current state of Ankylosaurus

Yes, and imo its better if it stays the way it is. I think its time to stop thinking of it as a bug that should be patched.

Consider getting perfect armor with perfect reforge (diamond atom), there's a big difference between using giant goldor and perfect goldor for armor swapping. And remember to dungeonize it and star it put at least fine amethyst gemstones on every piece and hot potato books.

Kobold does exactly this. It is VERY useful. Plus Perfect armor is a good alternative take set if you don't feel like using goldor. Diamond is cooler than stinky wither armor
